Surgeon Stephanie Ulmer is the lead healthcare provider at BetterLife Surgery.

She is passionate about surgery and the outcomes that can be achieved for her patients. "I enjoy the journey that surgery takes me on with my patients. It is a big decision to trust somebody to perform surgery on you and I understand that responsibility. After completing her surgical training in 2006, Stephanie gained specialist expertise in Brisbane, Australia utilising many different forms of Laparoscopic Weight Loss Surgery. She also spent time in Manchester, UK training in Breast surgery primarily for Cancer treatment and Breast Reconstruction surgery.

Upon returning to New Zealand, she was appointed Consultant in General Surgery at Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital where she now treats many conditions. Her areas of Specialty interest include:
