We have arranged the following services to support our patients during this time:

  1. Whakarongorau (Healthline)
    • 24/7 nurse triage service.
    • Call 06 867 7411 and follow the prompts.
  2. Practice Plus
    • Paid virtual consultations with GPs and NPs.
    • Weekdays: 9 AM – 10 PM | Weekends/Public Holidays: 8 AM – 8 PM
    • Visit www.practiceplus.nz or call 0800 772 7587.
  3. Tātai Whānau at Puhi Kaiti
    • After-hours GP and NP service.
    • Open weekends and public holidays, 9 AM – 5 PM.
    • Call 0800 TAATAI (0800 822 824).

Patients will be instructed to only contact 111 or present to Gisborne Hospital ED for emergencies.

Alternatively: We partner with Practice Plus to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team. Practice Plus is available weekdays until 10pm and weekends/public holidays 8am-8pm.
