Kayleigh Leonard

Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Kayleigh graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from the University of Pretoria, in South Africa, in 2016. She then spent a year working in a hospital and community in rural South Africa where she gained valuable skills learning to communicate and work with patients from different cultural backgrounds (some who had little ability to speak and understand English). She has since worked in a different private practices, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Kayleigh's work experience has allowed her to gain skills working in Neurology rehabilitation (including spinal cord injuries), Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal, Vestibular rehabilitation and Respiratory Physiotherapy. She has particular interests in Neurology, Paediatrics and Geriatrics. She is also certified to do Dry needling.
Kayleigh enjoys working with patients to empower them, improve their independence and quality of life.
