About Dr Matire Harwood
Dr Matire Harwood (Ngapuhi) is based at the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand as a Research Fellow. She also works part time as a General Practitioner at Whai Oranga Health Centre in Wainuiomata, sits on the Wellington Ethics Committee and is an executive member of Te Ohu Rata o Aotearoa (Māori Medical Practitioners Association). She has contributed to a number of National Guidelines including Life After Stroke.
