I offer holistic midwifery care based in West Auckland and I cover Waitakere and Rodney district from Massey up to Helensville.
I have great confidence in women’s bodies and in the natural process of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum. I have a real passion for midwifery and aim to empower women by giving them up-to-date information to make informed decisions, to grow in confidence as mothers and as women and feel positive about themselves, their bodies and abilities. I believe that continuity of care is the key to effective midwifery and that in building effective working partnerships with women I can provide holistic care which can empower women and promote wellness. Women are the cornerstone of society; by promoting wellness in women, you promote wellness in the family and thus in the community.
I am a proud home birth midwife and mother and also have access to Helensville Birthing Centre and Waitakere Hosptial. I am a member of the New Zealand College of Midwives and the Auckland Home Birth Association.
I have two school aged children and so have knowledge of maternity care in New Zealand both professionally and personally.

I am a Lead Maternity Carer who focuses on the individual needs of each mother to ensure she chooses the best care for her, her whānau and her baby.
My back up midwife is Heidi Copland and I work closely with the rest of the Kumeū Midwives.
