Congratulations on this exciting time in your life! It would be a privilege to care for you during your pregnancy.
I take a small caseload of 2 women per month who choose to birth at Taupō Maternity Unit or at home. I have worked in a variety of roles as a midwife, including community and hospital since 2013 and now enjoy caring for women who reside in my hometown of Tūrangi.
I strongly believe in women making informed choices and will walk alongside you assisting in navigating through this special time. I believe birth is a normal instinctual part of life and will support you to have a natural birth experience, however should extra help or intervention be required I will continue your care alongside specialist input and guidance. I am also confident in guiding women who choose lotus birth practices.
I specialise in breastfeeding and hold a current registration as a lactation consultant (IBCLC), helping women achieve their breastfeeding goals, whether that be a week, month or year!
