The midwives at the Birthing Units and Kerrs Rd cover different geographical areas.
If you live in the Papakura, Takanini area then Papakura Primary Birthing Unit is where your Community Midwife will be based.
If you live in Manukau, Ōtara and Flat Bush. Papatoetoe, Ōtāhuhu, Manurewa and Wattle Downs, Weymouth and Māngere then your Community Midwife will be based at 70 Kerrs Rd however you will be invited to a clinic in the community. (70 Kerrs Rd is an office base not a clinic base.)
If you live in Pukekohe, Tuakau, Waiuku and surrounding areas then your Community Midwife will be based at Pukekohe Primary Birthing Unit at Pukekohe Hospital.
If you live in the Botany Downs area including Pakuranga and part of Panama Avenue then your Community Midwife will be based at Botany Downs Primary Birthing Unit.
