Midwives@Botany is a group of primary care midwives offering you excellent care and support during your pregnancy, labour and postnatal period. We are passionate about midwifery and will provide you with a practical, empathetic and supportive approach, drawing on our wealth of experience and knowledge. We will work in partnership with you towards the best birth outcome possible. We look after women who are keen to have a natural birth and who are low risk however will support you and assist you in transfer of care if your pregnancy or labour becomes high risk. We prefer to deliver at Botany Downs Birthing Unit. Our antenatal clinics are held during office hours at Botany Downs Birthing Unit. We provide you with detailed notes to assist and guide you through this exciting journey....

We look after mothers who wish to birth at Botany Downs Birthing unit or Middlemore Hospital, who choose to have a natural birth and who live in surrounding suburbs to Botany.

We can see you for initial pregnancy tests as well as all bloods and scans for early pregnancy and will provide excellent care from then throughout your pregnancy and birth till 4-6 weeks post delivery of your baby.

You will choose one of the midwives below to be your Lead Maternity Carer; she will provide the majority of your care and if she is off call or unavailable you will be superbly cared for by one of the other midwives in the group providing backup.
