Philosophy

We believe that the paternity experience including pregnancy, labour & birth is such an important part of your life.
As a community midwife we will work in partnership throughout your journey, providing you with information and reassuring you through the normal events of pregnancy, birth & the postpartum period.  We encourage informed decision making and believe that education and shared information is the foundation to lifelong good health. My goal is to provide an empowering and positive birth experience, however that may look for you and your whānau. We provide care that is professional, holistic in nature and whānau-centered.

We Offer births at:

• Home Births
• Kaitaia Maternity Unit includes water births
•       Whangārei Hospital (will be cared by core staff due to out of area)
