Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a self employed LMC midwife working in the Counties Manukau/South Auckland area in a team of 6 midwives known as ‘Midwives for You’. Midwives for You is a group practice of experienced midwives, whose priority and commitment is to ensure the safety of you and your baby. We provide you midwifery care from normal births to more complex scenarios including secondary care for inductions of labour/epidurals and/or caesarean sections when required. During your pregnancy we will work with you and your whānau to create an appropriate birth plan for you and your specific needs. We look after mothers across the South Auckland region and depending on the situation, you will have choice to birth at either Middlemore Hospital or Papakura Maternity if low risk. Our antenatal clinics are run from a Tuesday to Friday between Papakura/Manurewa/Manukau and you can attend any of our clinic locations which best suits you.
