The Nelson Marlborough Health Addictions Service is a regional service, with facilities located in Nelson, Motueka, Golden Bay and Blenheim.
Nelson Addictions Service is committed to reducing the harms associated with addiction to individuals, family, whānau and the community.

Community managed detoxification/withdrawal is provided in a planned way and takes place in an outpatient or community setting. This is a medical detox for people where withdrawal doesn’t require inpatient medical support. The service may provide mobile home managed withdrawal and also manage medication as required during the withdrawal process.
