‘Elm Street’ is Auckland’s only residential, non-medical alcohol and drug detoxification centre. The centre provides professional, confidential advice, support and advocacy. Staff facilitate group educational sessions, provide access to community and recreational services and run relaxation workshops. Clients are asked to contribute $25 per night, which goes toward the cost of providing food and accommodation.
