The Primary Adult Alcohol & Other Drug Service is a free brief intervention (up to 4 sessions) for adults 25+ who have questions or concerns with their use of alcohol and/or cannabis. Sessions are practical and focus on education, harm minimisation, and goal setting. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns or questions.

Do you want some practical strategies to cut down or stop drinking or smoking cannabis? We offer a free non-judgemental service and develop a plan which meets your needs and goals. Clients are eligible for up to 4 free sessions. ● We can meet on a regular basis to review the plan and adjust it as needed ● We can discuss triggers, high risk situations, and barriers ● We can develop a relapse prevention plan ● Your family/whānau are encouraged to join the meetings We can also refer you to other supports in the community.

We accept self-referrals and referrals by professionals or other agencies.
