Detox and rehabilitiation services support people either through therapy or medical intervention to reduce alcohol or drug use.
Community medical detox programmes are a planned way for people to withdraw from alcohol and/or drug addiction, using medications that will help the process. These programmes can be delivered at a community centre or in your home, so you don’t have to stay in hospital for the treatment.
