Description
Mapu Maia provides a holistic service to individuals, families and communities that is culturally appropriate and effective. We offer free, professional and confidential counselling services and education.
We are able to meet you where you feel most comfortable, whether that is in our offices or in your home. Our experienced and qualified staff work with you and your family and can provide language support in English, Samoan and Tongan.
Staff
Mapu Maia consists of qualified, experienced and compassionate counsellors and health professionals delivering services to Pasifika communities across our clinical and community engaging teams. Staff are proud advocates for Pasifika wellbeing, committed to empowering individuals, promoting healthy lifestyles and choices, and navigating obstacles to meet Pasifika community needs.

Fees and Charges Description
Our counselling services are free, professional and confidential. We are funded by the Ministry of Health through the gambling levy, to work with all people who are affected by gambling.
This includes friends, family, work colleagues, employers, and anyone affected by someone else's gambling.
Our public health service offers free presentations and workshops for community and professional groups.
Donations are welcome. We are a registered charity.
