Description
Wellington, Hutt and Porirua provide three inpatient units for those experiencing severe mental illness.
The Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service provides three inpatient units. The Regional Rangatahi Adolescent Inpatient Service (RRAIS) is located at Rātonga Rua o Porirua, Porirua, the Te Whare Ahuru Acute Inpatient Unit is located at Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt and the Te Whare o Matairangi Inpatient Service is located at Wellington Hospital, Wellington.
