Description
Atareira Transitional Housing has been responding to the needs of homeless people in Wellington since 2003. We provide short-term transitional housing and support to individuals and families that are temporarily experiencing homelessness. Included in our support is help to find sustainable housing.
While staying in a Transitional Housing home, residents take care of their own basic living needs, including:
- personal hygiene
- cleaning and cooking
- transport etc
Staff will work alongside residents to develop a Housing Action Plan which includes working towards finding future accommodation.
We encourage residents to link in and receive support from other services while with Atareira Transitional Housing.
Please contact us for more information.
