Atareira are leaders in modelling and promoting mental health recovery through partnership services with families, service-users and their communities.
Atareira’s main office is located in Porirua, with satellite offices in Wellington City and Lower Hutt. Our mobile workers cover all regions throughout the Wellington catchment area.
Atareira offers a number of services including Family Whānau support, short term housing, Children Understanding Mental Health programmes, anxiety management programme and support groups. Contact us for more information.

Our services are free because they are funded by Hutt Valley and Capital & Coast DHBs.
