Referral Process

CCS accept referrals via post, fax and email from GP's and other community agencies and self referrals via telephone.

Description

CCS acts as the single point of entry for adult referrals to Canterbury alcohol and other drug treatment services in the community. The service provides screening and assessment to help link the person with the appropriate AOD service.

This includes access to Residential services, Day Programs, Individual Counselling and Group Work. The service has social workers, AOD counselors, nurses, peer support workers and psychologist on the team.
