Who can receive our service?
- Waitemata DHB residents ( Waitakere and North Shore Cities)
- People receiving clinical services from the Waitemata DHB Adult and Maternal Mental Services or Primary Care
- Women from the age 18+

Description
Dayspring maternal mental health community support service provides professional support for women and their babies/young children who have experienced postnatal depression or anxiety, or are living with an existing mental health issue.
We provide:
- Support to mothers to build capacity and maintain wellness
- Assistance in finding the right support networks
- Connection and Support groups for mothers
- Strengths-based approach in working with mothers
- Goal setting and personal plans
- Ensure most effective care by working alongside health professionals
- Life Skill Courses (i.e budgeting, nutrition, cooking, sewing, exercise and mindfulness)
- Creche for the mothers while they attend Dayspring programmes
- Advocacy (i.e WINZ, Housing, Corrections, Court, Health related matters)
- Assistance with access to other services as needed (ie pre-employment training)
