  • Families who are affected by another family member's addiction
  • All personal information shared within the group sessions is kept purely confidential
  • Clients have to be registered with the Familial Trust
  • All information required is provided to Familial Trust before the programme commences

Description

The AOD Family Peer Support Group is run once a week every Monday onsite at the Familial Trust, this runs from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

This group is designed to allow families who are struggling with a loved one's addiction to confidently share their struggles and the current barriers they are facing. 

Family member attendees will be introduced to healthy living skills, such as the identification and expression of feelings, a variety of problem solving, coping and self-care strategies, self-worth and resilience.
