Referral Process
Families are important. We encourage family members to contact us, and/or for services to refer families and whānau to Family Link for support, education and advocacy. Referrals to our services can be made by anyone including:
- Self referrals
- Hospital services
- Community services
- Doctors
- Schools

Description
We have three Family and Whānau Fieldworkers who provide support, education and advocacy. Confidentiality is guaranteed and the Fieldworkers are available to meet with you either at our offices at the Historic Village, or at a place of your choosing e.g. a cafeteria or your home.
Our Fieldworkers facilitate educational workshops and support groups.
We provide assistance, where appropriate, to identify suitable services to support the best outcome for your family and whānau.
We provide assistance to navigate mental health services.
