Referral Process

Families are important. We encourage family members to contact us, and/or for services to refer families and whānau to Family Link for support, education and advocacy. Referrals to our services can be made by anyone including:

  • Self referrals
  • Hospital services
  • Community services
  • Doctors
  • Schools

Description

Family Link staff facilitate a Support Group for family members from 1pm to 3pm on the third Thursday of each month from February to November. The Support group is held in the Seashell Room of the Pāpāmoa Sports and Recreation Grounds Building (off Parton Road). We have guest speakers and time for a chat and cuppa.

We also host fortnightly evening support groups from 5.30-7.00pm on a Tuesday at the School House, Historic Village. Please contact us for more information.
