Description
Home and Family provides professional counselling for a voluntary contribution. We are New Zealand's second oldest charity and have been helping people in need for 128 years. We rely on donations so we can remain accessible and affordable to all.
We are an incorporated society with charitable status from the Inland Revenue Department and have a fantastic team of professional counsellors and administrators.

During COVID-19 Lockdown Levels 2 - 4, Home & Family Counselling will offer counselling via phone and video sessions. Please call 09 630 8961 (Central Auckland) or 09 419 9853 (North Shore | Hibiscus Coast) or use the online contact form to request an appointment.

Home and Family Counselling runs on a voluntary contribution basis. We have an online guide on our website and this is discussed within your counselling session.

Reception Hours:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Mount Eden & North Shore)
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Mount Eden Only)
Appointment Times:
Monday to Saturday: Daytime hours with evening appointments available.
*Note: Hibiscus Coast office does not operate a reception on-site and operates on an appointment-only basis. Please contact the North Shore centre reception team to request a Hibiscus Coast appointment.
Public Holidays: Closed on all public holidays.

Public Transport
Our Central Auckland centre (based in Mount Eden) is serviced by buses 277 and 274. Mount Eden train station is a short bus ride or 17-minute walk.
Our North Shore centre (based in Northcote) is serviced by buses 955, 958, 960, 971, 972, 973, and 974.

Parking
Central Auckland centre (Mount Eden): There is public parking on streets around Mt Eden Road. There is a bus lane outside the Mt Eden centre that is in operation 4pm - 6pm Monday to Friday. Clients may also use the limited parking at the centre.
North Shore centre (Northcote): There is public parking available on and around Seaview Avenue.
