We have: 

  • a manager 
  • an enrolled nurse 
  • a social worker
  • an administrator
  • and cleaner/support workers.

We have other support workers that cover weekdays and weekends.

Supported Accommodation

Manaaki Trust is a residential based organisation within Taumarunui dedicated to providing level three supported accommodation and means to recovery for those recovering from mental illness. Our focus is on supporting our residents so that they can transition back to living independently in the community. When residents do leave our residential service, we continue to support them in the community, as they need it. We do provide respite on a referral basis with the te Whatu Ora Waikato and the Community Mental Health Team.

Access to this service is through Te Whatu Ora referral only.

We work in conjunction with the Community Mental Health Team, GP and Psychiatrist.

Manaaki Trust provides transport to all clinical appointments, grocery shopping and other appointments as required. There is no local taxi service in town.
