Referrals are accepted from GP, community agencies, schools or Plunket.

This service is for young people from birth to 18 years of age.

Description

CAMHS provides outpatient and some community mental health assessments, consultation, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment for pre-schoolers, children/tamariki & adolescents/rangatahi and their families/whānau who are experiencing serious mental health difficulties.

Following assessments, Child, Adolescent and Family negotiate with families and whānau what therapy and other supports may look like. 
 
CAMHS are a family based service who provide family therapy as well as offering individual therapy.
