We are one of the smallest and most unique Primary Health Organisations (PHO) in New Zealand. Ngāti Porou Hauora is a charitable trust; and the only Māori owned and operated hospital in the world.

Te Oranga Hinengaro
The team of about 10 staff have a range of skills and treatment options including connections with specialist services such as rehabilitation.
Te Hiringa Matua
The Mataora or "Change Agents" - are a blend of tohunga mahi toi (traditional Māori artists) and ngaio hauora (health professional) that provide support using their pukenga (skills) to reconnect whānau with themselves in their journey of healing.
