This service operates 5 days per week and is based in Dannevirke. One day a week the service is offered in Eketāhuna. A pickup service is offered 2 days per week for whānau in Pahiatua, Eketāhuna and Woodville. The service provides a structured activity programme with general life skills offered to tāngata whaiora in the Tararua area.

We are here to support Tāngata Whaiora to live productive lives in their own home and surrounds. During times of acute illness and stress, they are supported to regain and maintain a level of wellness that allows them to live active lives within their community. This service can: Assist Tāngata Whaiora in reaching an optimum level of wellness Provide a holistic approach to wellbeing using Māori Health Models e.g. Te Whare Tapa Whā Support Tāngata Whaiora in addressing their cultural, spiritual, social psychological and physical needs Develop services appropriate to the needs of Tāngata Whaiora and their whānau Advocate for and access services appropriate to the needs of Tāngata Whaiora
