Individuals can access this service via self-referral or can be referred by whānau, GP or another community mental health provider. Please contact Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua directly.
This service provides mental health needs assessments for individuals and whānau, supporting mental health wellbeing for adults. Advocacy on behalf of individuals and whānau is also provided. The process includes Te Wairua, Te Hinengaro, Te Tinana and Te Whānau.
Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua also provide a Budget Advisory Service.
While the service is Kaupapa Māori based, it is intended to not only meet the needs of Māori but everyone.
