Referral Process

Referrals will be accepted from addiction and mental health providers, Community Probation, government agencies, GPs and self.


This service works with individuals, 18 years or older, who have a mental health problem that is worsened by the misuse of substances or substance abuse issues.

Services are delivered in a manner that is culturally appropriate. They are holistic, addressing all issues affecting one's wellbeing. Referrals can be made, with the individual's consent, to other services for specialised or other services.

We are a flexible, travelling service and will support client's needs by meeting them wherever they feel most comfortable e.g. their home, Marae, beach etc. Whānau involvement is encouraged, whereever possible.
