Description

Sage provides confidential career support for people who have experience of mental health or addiction issues. We believe it is a human right for everyone to determin and shape their own career.

We help you to:

• discover your strengths, skills and interests
• explore what career means for you
• consider career options including training, volunteering and paid employment
• determine what qualifications, training and experience you might need
• gain networking and interview skills
• improve disclosure strategies
• create or update your CV, and draft cover letters
• seek and apply for jobs
• develop strategies to minimise the impact of mental health or addiction issues
• access peer support and other wellness resources
• deal with workplace bullying
• continue developing your career, by providing in-work support
• go for a promotion, or plan for retirement
• build confidence and celebrate success along the way
