Description

Vibe Support Services offer one-on-one support working with young people of the Hutt Valley aged 10 - 24 years to achieve their goals and strengthen their connections to the community, work or school environments, their peers or their family.

Social support - Vibe offers social work and youth work support and advocacy that is strength-based and client focussed. Our social workers and youth workers have a wide range of community networks and ensure that all young people are well supported.

Youth Development - Vibe offers a range of youth development programmes to suit the diverse needs of young people. Programmes and workshops are available for different ages and focus on a range of wellbeing topics.

NEET - Not in Education Employment or Training - Youth coaches work alongside 16-17 year olds to help them achieve success in education and employment. Working with a youth coach means regular catch ups to ensure young people realise their potential and stay on track to achieve their goals through support, advice, motivation and having fun.

YP/YPP - Youth Payment/ Young Parent Payment - Youth coaches work alongside young people to access government financial assistance via the Youth Payment (16-17yr olds who are unable to live at home) and Young Parent Payment (16-18 yr old parents) and to engage them with education and employment.

The Support team often works alongside the Health Service and Youth Service team, supporting you to reach your goals.
