Referrals accepted from a person's lawyer or the court Judge to request assessment and screening.

Description

Forensic Court Liaison RN - Works in the Greymouth and Westport District Courts on scheduled criminal list days to provide assessment and screening for suspected mental health, intellectual disability or substance use which could impede on a person's ability to fully engage with the court process as per requirements. Can provide information about local NGO support services, PHO counselling, AOD services, online self help resources, helplines and referral to local community mental health services where needed.
