Description
The Youth Addictions and Mental Health Alliance (YAMHA) came together to provide clinical leadership across the Canterbury DHB- funded teams providing child and youth mental health and addictions services within the community.
Community Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is a working group initiative, within YAMHA, made up of CAF Services, Odyssey House (Christchurch), Stepping Stone Trust and Pegasus Health. CYMHS aims to increase community access, establish a coordination role and gather information about needs for youth mental health services in Canterbury.
YAMHA members also includes: St John of God Waipuna, PuraPura Whetu, Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust, Christchurch PHO, Christchurch City Mission, CDHB CAFLink, CDHB Schools’ Mental Health Team and CDHB Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Services.
