If you would like to make a formal referral to YOSS, please complete the form below and email to info@yoss.org.nz.

The advantage of a formal referral is that we are able to track them and follow-up young people who may not be able to self present. Please also let us know if you're able to do a 'warm handover', which means that you'll bring the young person (and their family or support person), with them to YOSS for an initial meet and greet session (kanohi ki te kanohi). Please also let us know if the young person is aware that this could occur.

Description

YOSS provides youth-friendly drug and alcohol info as well as advocacy, education, support and advice for young people. We take an early intervention and prevention approach and can also provide awareness programmes if needed.

Colin, our Youth Worker, can help you focus on your strengths and encourage you to let others work alongside you when times get tough. He'll help you establish and develop positive relationships with role models and other significant people in your life. He knows some great practical alternatives for coping with stressful situations, and can help you explore any issues relating to drug and alcohol use.
