Community Mental Health Services

The team provides specialist Mental Health and Addiction support to whaiora/consumers and whānau/families suffering from a mental illness. The focus is community based and all services are offered in conjunction with other providers. Treatment is provided by consultant psychiatrists, therapy team, clinical psychologists, keyworkers, social workers, counsellors and support staff. Te Whare Oranga is a Specialised Service for families/whānau that are experiencing severe and enduring distress around Mental Health and Addiction issues.

Funded methadone and suboxone programme for people with an opioid dependency.

Addiction Support Groups

A Whānau Support Group is provided for family members effected by a loved one's methamphetamine use. An AOD Support Group is provided for individuals who are suffering from Alcohol and Other Drug use.
