Description

Artsenta is a community based art studio for people accessing support for their mental health or addiction.

Artsenta was founded on the belief that the arts, creativity and self-expression are an essential part of every person's emotional, physical and spiritual well-being, and that those experiencing mental distress should be given the opportunity to realise their creative potential.

Artsenta is for adults 17 years and above. Materials are provided with support from skilled art workers with mental health training.

Staff

We employ a team of friendly and talented art workers who are skilled artists and also trained in mental health and wellbeing.

There is no charge to attend Artsenta or our Outreach sessions.

Referral Process

If you are interested in being creative, are 17 years or older, and are receiving support for your mental health or addiction, you are eligible to access Artsenta. This can include a GP, counsellor or Health Improvement Practitioner.

Most people begin by making a time to visit Artsenta. You are welcome to bring a support person as you get used to the space. If you'd like to come and have a look contact us so that we can make time to show you around.

No referral is required. If you are interested in being creative, over 17 years old, and are experiencing mental health challenges, you are eligible to access Artsenta's outreach programme.

Parking

We have a carpark which attendees can use though space is limited. There is a 5 minute drop-off area outside and free 60 minute parks in the area.
