Description

Auckland Mental Wellness Centre offers clinical/ neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, and specialist psychotherapy services for a wide range of relational, psychological, emotional and behavioural issues for children, adolescents, and adults.


We can provide psychological assessment reports to Court, and Immigration NZ. 

Our therapeutic approach may include:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) 
  • Focused Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (FACT)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
  • Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)
  • Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
  • Other forms of evidence-based treatments

What to expect
Psychological therapy involves an initial assessment, following which we will discuss with you an individual, evidence-based treatment plan that is the best fit for your current difficulties. 
The total number of sessions to complete treatment is usually between six and twelve sessions. There is normally one session per week in the beginning, with appointments usually 50-60 minutes long.

We can also offer consultations and e-therapy via Skype, Messenger, and Google hangouts.

Staff

Auckland Mental Wellness Centre has a team of NZ registered clinical, counselling and forensic psychologists who provide psychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of relational, psychological, emotional and
forensic issues.

Fees and Charges Description

Auckland Mental Wellness Centre is a private practice so receives no government funding. If you are eligible for subsidised counselling services through Work and Income or your insurance company, we can assist you with this. We accept cash, Eftpos, and Internet banking. Clients are required to pay in full at the time of service. Find details of our fees here
