Government subsidies may be available for both short and long term care at Bainfield Park.
Service Co-Ordinators will liase with you regarding your choice of Residential Care provider. They will apply for a subsidy from the government on your behalf and will keep you informed of progress and timeframes.
The subsidy system will be explained to you at this time.
Bainfield Park is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Individuals located anywhere in New Zealand are eligible to stay at Bainfield Park. All individuals who are seeking Residential Care must first be assessed by an Approved Assessor to evaluate the level of care required by the individual and discuss the available options.
The initial discussions may be held between the family and General Practitioner/Social Worker or Service Co-Ordinator. All of these agencies will direct you to the appropriate assessment services.
