Building Minds is a private mental health practice specialising in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of issues (e.g. anxiety, self-esteem, stress, trauma). We offer a wide range of therapeutic services – from ADHD or autism assessments, child or adult individual therapies, couple therapies to group sessions – all aimed at supporting mental health, life challenges, and wellbeing. 

Our team of specialists – including clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, a paediatrician, therapists, and a counsellor – work together to provide personalised care. We specialise in a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to suit your needs.

Developmental paediatrics

Developmental paediatrics focuses on the assessment and management of developmental and behavioural difficulties in children. This includes concerns such as delays in speech and language, motor skills, social interaction, attention, and cognitive abilities. Conditions commonly managed include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, learning disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Developmental paediatricians work closely with families, schools, allied health professionals and other medical specialists to understand and manage these challenges.
