The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team provides specialist assessment and treatment to young people aged 5 - 18 suffering from mental health and/or addiction issues.

CAMHS is based in Greymouth and covers all of the West Coast.

Youth Mental Health Assessment and Treatment

The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) consists a of a multi-disciplinary team that offers specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people from 5 up to the age of 18 years. CAMHS provides services to children and adolescents who have serious mental health disorders; or suspected psychiatric disorders; and/or psychological disorders including severe emotional and behavioural disturbance.

Public Transport

St John runs two rural shuttle services from Monday - Friday. St John do not charge a fee for this services, however they do accept donations to help cover costs.
