Community Mental Health & Addiction Services

Community Mental Health and Addictions supports adults with severe mental health and addiction issues within the community, recognising that a small proportion of the population need more acute services, including hospital based services, from time to time. Our teams provide assessment and treatment interventions, in the community and in a clinic setting, based on the recovery approach of support, to enable sustained recovery skills and well-being. This is encouraged by ensuring people's participation and development of supports and interventions to ensure resilience and skills to manage mental illness and addiction problems.
