Description
DRIVE is a peer-led network for people with lived or living experience of emotional distress or harm from alcohol or other drugs, and their whānau. All DRIVE staff have lived experience. We create opportunities for people to connect, learn, and grow alongside others on a similar journey.
Activities include workshops, peer support groups, and community hui across the Counties Manukau region.

Most people connect with us online via email, text, or social media. If you would like to meet in person at Te Piringa Āhuru, please contact us to arrange a time as we are often out in the community.

This programme helps people access information about a wide range of supports and opportunities in the community. This may include services such as counselling, addiction support, peer groups, housing, employment, and other resources that support wellbeing and recovery. Our advocacy focuses on systemic change rather than individual case advocacy. We use insights from people with lived experience to highlight barriers and advocate for improvements in services and systems.
