Enhancing the well-being of family and whānau who are supporting someone with mental illness and/or addiction.
Our service covers the Aoraki region, including Timaru, Waimate, Twizel, Fairlie, Geraldine, Pleasant Point and Temuka.

Although our family support service is free, we welcome the support of new financial members.
Annual subscriptions are payable in July each year and the fees are:
$10 unwaged
$20 waged

We receive referrals from all sources, including self-referrals.
FAMHS works closely with Te Whatu Ora Health NZ South Canterbury Mental Health & Addiction Services.
