Gumboot Friday is an initiative created by I AM HOPE to help connect young people, aged 25 and under, with FREE counselling from qualified practitioners. Young people can choose a counsellor on the Gumboot Friday website.

Counselling support for young people aged 25 years and under

Gumboot Friday provides free counselling for young people aged 5–25 experiencing mild to moderate distress. Young people can choose a qualified practitioner and book directly on the Gumboot Friday platform. Sessions are available online or in person, depending on the counsellor. Funding typically starts with an initial allocation of sessions and additional sessions may be requested when needed.
