Highbury Whānau Centre delivers a range of services to support young people and their families, and promote happy and healthy lifestyles for all. As a community centre we promote and provide opportunities for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau to enhance well-being. Included in the range of services are counselling, psycho-education, youth work, support and advocacy, after school programmes, holiday programmes, Rugby League club, Combat room Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Youth Touch, Te Reo Māori class and Te Hiringa Alternative Education services.

Highbury Whānau Centre provides support using a range of individual and group interventions, including counselling, education, support and advocacy, for children and young people (aged 7-24) who are struggling with: Depression Anxiety conditions including panic attacks Trauma Managing emotions and behaviours Anger At-risk behaviours Self-harm and suicide ideation Self-esteem and identity Relationship difficulties Stress management Sleep disturbance Offending

Services are for children and young people aged 8-24 years.
Referrals for youthwork can be from self-referral, whānau, schools, Oranga Tamariki and other community services.
Referrals for Counselling are through GP or other medical professional
