Social Housing provides support for people in the Auckland and Whangārei region who are experiencing difficulties with their housing. Housing First for people who are chronically homeless (Whare Taupua, Fale ko Lata'anga, Central & West Auckland & Whangārei); Transitional Housing for those who are transitionally homeless (Ara Whakawhiti, South, East, West & Central Auckland & Whangārei); Youth Transitional Housing (Aka Matua, Ōtara, Māngere & Manurewa); Sustaining Tenancies (Whare Toko, Auckland & Whangārei); Supported Accommodation for people receiving mental health services; Public/Permanent Housing (South & West Auckland & Whangārei); Residential Tenancies in individually leased properties (Auckland & Whangārei); Supported Accommodation for rangatahi transitioning from state care (Māhuri); Creating Positive Pathways for people exiting long-term prison sentences (Hiki Mana, Hiki Ora, Auckland & Whangārei); Emergency motel accommodation (Auckland only); Rapid rehousing for people experiencing homelessness (Kāinga Āhuru); Transitional housing for all who identify as transgender (Āhuru Pūmanawa, Mt Eden); Single-site supported housing (Te Mātāwai, Central City)
