The Kensington Inpatient Unit is staffed by registered nurses 24 hours, 7 days a week.
We prefer that visitors contact us prior to visiting the unit.

The inpatient unit, or ward, is situated at the eastern end of the Kensington facility. A team comprising of Registered Mental Health Nurses, Psychiatrists, and an Occupational therapist are there to assist with the recovery process for those who are experiencing a severe mental health issue requiring intensive treatment.

Access to the Kensington Inpatient Unit is via GP, Crisis Team, or Emergency Department referral or through an outpatient appointment.
