Te Ara Kaupare Youth Forensic Service - Midlands

Te Ara Kaupare Youth Forensic Services operates across the Midlands region as a Specialist NASC under the umbrella of Ngaa Ringa Awhina. Te Ara Kaupare provides court liaison services as well as court based mental health/alcohol and drug screenings for rangatahi who have matters before the court. Where appropriate, and with consent of the young person/rangatahi and their whānau, Te Ara Kaupare will on refer to appropriate support services. Te Ara Kaupare also provides treatment service into Te Maioha o Parekarangi Youth Justice Facility (Rotorua).

Te Ara Kaupare accepts referrals from a wide range of sources including (but not limited to) mental health services, Oranga Tamariki, whānau and the courts.
