Pou Whakaaro for Families

Our Pou Whakaaro for Families office is a place where families and caregivers can meet for emotional support, information and linking to other services. We can also travel to meet you at your home, business or community within the Eastern Bay. Our team can support families where a member is living with a mental illness. We provide: family/whānau advocacy family/whānau emotional support home visits linking and liaison with mental health and wellness services information and education peer support and wellness activities library and resources Straight Up Programme for 7-12 year olds who have a family/whānau member affected by mental illness We regularly run groups and get togethers, and have guests in to share their skills and expertise.
